Tyee will be open 10am, Sat March 1st to 3pm, Sunday March 2nd.

March 5 (Wed) Morning Hike – Class A/B

We hike 4 to 6 miles, for 2 to 4 hours, usually in Forest Park, then lunch at a nearby cafe. If you would like to know the distance or difficulty of the hike, call the leader.

March 12 (Wed) Nesika Lodge Planning Meeting

Join us at the Mazama Mountaineering Center 527 SE 43rd ( 43rd & Stark) to discuss our plans for work trips and future projects for our home in the gorge. All members are welcome. We will start the meeting at 7PM and hopefully finish before 9PM. This is your opportunity to express your wishes for what needs to be done at Nesika. Parking in the area can be challenging. Hope to see you there.

March 20 (Thu) Adventures in Travel, How To Stay Found and Be Found

March's guest speaker is Deborah Cherachanlo of Pacific NW Search and Rescue. Deborah is a Board Member and Medical Director. She will give us good tips on staying found and being found as we adventurously travel through the woods. You will not want to miss this highly entertaining and informative talk. It could save your life!
Social hour begins at 6:15 p.m., program begins at 7:00 p.m. at Rose Villa Fellowship Hall, 13505 SE River Rd, Milwaukie. This is a great time for guests to meet Trails Club members. Please bring a healthy snack, or consider a $1 donation to help defray expenses.

March 20-23 (Thu-Sun) Hells Canyon/Bench Trail/McGraw Creek Hike Backpack – Class B

We will leave town early on Thursday AM. We will drive to Hell's Canyon Reservoir TH. Goal is to hike the 3 miles to the Bench Trail junction on Thursday PM. We will then hike up the Bench Trail as far as we are able per snow conditions on Friday. Saturday we will hike back to Junction with McGraw Creek Trail. Milage to be determined by snow. Sunday we will hike to McGraw cabin and down to Hells Canyon Reservoir Trail 6 miles and drive home. Limit 8 people.

March 29 (Sat) Green Leaf Overlook hike Class B Changed!

This hike on the Washington side of the gorge begins on a connector trail at Bonneville trailhead then continues on the PCT. Our distance will be about 8.8 miles, out and back, with an elevation gain of about 800 feet.
Meet at Gateway transit Center, 8:30 departure time.
