Jan 7 (Sun) Outings Planning Meeting
There is a 2018 Trails Club Outings planning meeting scheduled for January 7th at 3 PM at the home of Susan Green and Gregg Baker.
To have a 2 week Wilderness Outing, it requires 24 committed campers including two weekly leaders and two kitchen goddesses.
Other alternatives to consider include a destination outing where we stay at a facility or a car camping outing like we had
last year in the North Cascades.
Bring your ideas and suggestions for 2018 outings to the meeting and encourage new participants to attend.
Meet: 3 PM, at the home of Susan Green and Gregg Baker
2909 NE 20th Ave
Portland, Oregon.

Jan 10 (Wed) Evening Hike – Class A
Hike in the dark and rain! This will be about a 5 mile trek from Lower Macleay Park to the
Pittock Mansion and back. We will leave at 5 pm, so please try to arrive a few minutes early.
This is a 5 mile hike with about 900 feet of elevation gain. My pace is about 2 to 2.5 miles per hour and
I prefer to do this hike without a lot of stops until we get to the summit.
